Starting in October 1996 until July 2001 I studied mathematics, informatics and a little bit economy at the University of Greifswald.
Greifswald is located at the Baltic Sea, or that is to say close to the Greifswald’s Bay, in the county Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
From July 2001 until December 2004 I worked at the company DECODON in the BioTechnikum Greifswald.
Since 2005 I work as a bioinformatician at the University Medicine Greifswald. In 2010 I achieved the Doctor of Natural Sciences in bioinformatics and in 2021 the venia legendi. Since October 2020 I am also an associate professor at the Medical University of Bialystok, Poland.
